]]> Providing a safe and healing space, I help people unravel patterns of behaviour and styles of attachment in their relationship to others and themselves. I am person-centred and utilise many different modalities – including Humanistic, TA, IFS (parts work) as well as some elements of CBT and ERP if appropriate. I work very intuitively and often focus on somatic work, exploring how, why and where the body holds and processes trauma and use psychoeducation to help clients understand themselves. I am a trained meditation teacher and utilise this when appropriate, alongside co and self-regulation techniques. I believe that creating a trusting relationship together is of primary importance, allowing you to share as much as you feel safe to – for some people this can be the first time they have felt able to be truly real – especially for people who have experienced trauma and developed patterns of once necessary but now unhelpful protection behaviours or thoughts. I welcome everyone and invite you to try counselling as a means to find calmness, clarity and empowerment.
